I forgot to mention how pretty the set of Coco Avant Chanel was with its floral wallpaper and victorian windows and french lace. There aren’t enough movie stills circulating around the net though. I spent the entire movie admiring the set and the extravagant lifestyle of the rich back in the day and of course audrey tautou’s french. 2 years of waiting did not disappoint although the prettiest set I’ve seen so far is still Marie Antoinette. Next, Alice in Wonderland!
J’ai perdu mon pauvr’ coco
Coco mon chien que j’adore, tout pret du trocadero
Il est loin s’il court encore
Je l’aouve, mon plus grand r’gret
dans ma perte su cruelle
C’est qu’plues mon homme me trompait
plus coco m’etait fidele
Vous n’auriez pas vu Coco?
Coco dans l’Trocadero
Co dans l’Tro
Co dans l’Tro
Coco dans l’Trocadero
Qui qu’a qui qu’a vu Coco?
Eh! Coco!
Eh! Coco!
Qui qu’a qui qu’a vu Coco?
Eh! Coco!

aaa, the hats. and the exquisite dresses they put on to sit by the beach. what a far cry from today’s scanty bikinis and such.
and i love how tautou speaks french too.
just so you know, i had A for french (back in year 2 poly days)
what an “act smart”
